National Christmas Trees

Project Overview

When it comes to lighting all 52 of the national Christmas trees in the White House lawn, it takes a village! RGB Lights is honored to have been a part of this project, collaborating with Nexus Productions, C.T. London, 72andSunny, and Google. Google launched their Made with Code campaign during the 2014 holiday season, promoting girls to gain interest in computer science. The public was able to visit a special website where they could code their very own tree, selecting colors, display patterns, and a state. RGB Lights structured custom FlexiFlex configurations to cover each tree and display the codes. We then monitored the feed to correspond with the National Christmas Tree lighting and keep the code going throughout the season.
