Project Overview

The design of the exhibit included a giant low resolution video screen which transitioned from the upper to lower deck of the exhibit. To create this contour, standard LED panels would need some method of hiding unused parts of the panels in a stair-step configuration. However, by using 50mm RigiFlex, a custom “swoop” was fabricated allowing for a contoured piece to be created exactly as the designers pictured it. The custom backing structure was provided as a sale piece, while all LED components were standard rental items.
